Our Halloween/Samhain Candles will get you in the mood for the autumn seasonal celebrations as well as Samhain which is the final harvest festival on October 31st marking the end of the growing season and the beginning of Winter and is symbolic of the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. 

Ingredients: Paraffin/SoyWax and Candle Dye in a Luxury Black Tumbler

Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils: Rosemary Fragrance, Cinnamon, Clove, Orange Spice, Atlas Cedarwood, Patchouli, Apple, Musk, Orange Citrus.

Inclusions: Glass Glitter, Wax Adornments, Carnelian, Cloves, Cinnamon, Rosemary, Calendula

We will be released very limited runs of some candles whilst adding new ones over time. Vintage glass containers will vary based on availability and cost. We will make our options more formal over time as we work through adding an entirely new category of products to our catalog.

Candle Safety & Instructions

Restorative Aromatics LLC dba Belladonna’s Botanicals (here to forth referred to as BB) is not responsible for any damage from improper candle use. By purchasing our candles and adhering to our safety guidelines - you accept full responsibility for your own candle usage.

Some of our candles use vintage glassware. We recommend after the candle is finished that you clean the vintage glass and it can be used as ritual tools. If you do not desire to keep them, let us know and we will send you a return shipping label. Contact us at belladonnasbotanicals@gmail.com for more information.

Safety for candles in glass containers

1. Never leave a lit candle unattended including leaving the house or falling asleep with the candle. This will ensure safe use in the event of any issues. Again BB is not responsible for damage caused by improper use.

2. Candles should only be burned for four hours at a time.

3. We recommend keeping a fire extinguisher or other type of device on hand when using any candles. 

4. NEVER burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire i.e. fabrics, curtains, carpets, bedding, furniture etc. Also, do not place directly below air vents or in front of fans because this can not only make your candle go out, but it can blow the flames and cause fires.

5. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets.

6. No part of our candles or any products are meant for consumption or internal or external use on the body unless otherwise specified. Yes, we have to say that.

7. If you have allergies, please contact us first if you are unsure as to whether the candle is safe for you to use or contact a medical professional. 

8. As always candles for self care  and metaphysical purposes are magical tools or under the rubric of complementary alternative medicine. This is not a replacement for any health concerns and the care of a medical professional.

9. Despite the collective safety - accidents and unforeseen issues can occur such as outer labels melting or getting burn holes due to extended burn times. If this happens, extinguish the candle and allow it to cool. Sometimes wicks move about so the containers can get extremely hot or even shatter. 

10. DO NOT USE OUR SPELLFIRE BLENDS ON CANDLES - THEY HAVE AN ALCOHOL BASE.  DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF ACCELERANTS ON THE CANDLE IF THE WICK DOESN'T STAY LIT OR FOR ANY OTHER REASONS.

11. It is recommended to extinguish the candle when approximately 3/4 inch of wax remains in the container. Allowing the candle to burn down fully can cause the glass to break because of the heat - this can also ignite any remaining herbs and scorch any crystals. Do not allow the candle to  burn out on its own.

12. For candles that are in a vintage glassware, you may need to reduce the burn time or burn at intervals. This will help prevent the glass from breaking especially if  the glass is narrow at the bottom like some types of stemware.

13. BB is not responsible for any broken or damaged glass once the candle has been received and used.

For other types of candles including Pillars, Tapers, or Tealights 

1. Please follow the candle safety instructions above.

2. Additionally if using stand alone pillar, taper candles, even tea lights to place them on a heat resistant fire safe surface, jar, container, candle holder etc.

3. If the candle does not fit or isn't steady, we recommend using StickUm wax to secure it in place.

4. Larger candles can melt and the wax may leak and flow outside of the desired space. We recommend larger bowls or jars for this purpose.

5. Tea lights using plastic cups can melt if lit for too long. Please use them inside of an appropriate tea light candle holder.

General instructions for use - candles are a part of many spells and rituals in most if not all traditions and can be used accordingly.                           

1. You can add additional anointing oils, crystals or herbs if you desire, but accept full responsibility for any damage or issues caused by doing so. If any additional herbs or materials catch fire, extinguish by snuffing out the candle immediately and remove the material in question. It is not recommended to douse with water. Some materials can be quite flammable such as whole bay leaves or eucalyptus leaves for example. 

2. You can simply set an intention as you light the candle or incorporate it into spells or rituals. Our products are designed for use for anyone regardless of tradition or skill level. 

3. Occasionally, crystals or other inclusions can become loose from the candle during transportation. You can either remove it or add it  back in once the wax melts.

4. After the candle is finished burning, if you would like to remove any crystals for later use, you can soak the candle glass in water and dish soap as this will help remove the wax from the crystal.

Our Creation Process

Belladonna’s Botanicals Candles are created to be used by anyone regardless of skill level or tradition. For that reason, we do not include specific spells or rituals because everyone's practices are different. We encourage you to find spells and rituals that suit your needs online via Google or YouTube or in any witchcraft related books you may have on hand. 

Our candles are handcrafted infusing soy wax unless otherwise specified with fragrance and essential oils plus inclusions such as herbs, crystals, biodegradable glitter, or other materials, and are imbued with magical energy. Jennifer is a Reiki Master and Advanced Crystal Healer with multiple certifications and coursework in a variety of fields both magical and mundane.
